ABOUT ANNA

 

Anna Kelley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. She has been working for over six years to provide comprehensive psychotherapy services in a variety of settings. Before joining Vendetti Wellness Group, Anna worked as an Outpatient Counselor in a community-based mental health organization.

 

 

Anna enjoys working with a diversity of individuals ranging from older adolescents to adults and aging populations with knowledge of a multitude of mental health concerns from phase of life stress, depression, anxiety disorders, substance dependence, trauma, and other concerns which can cause disruption to daily life.

 

 

She pulls from various modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed practices with a strengths-based and solutions-focused perspective to create a safe, therapeutic environment and promote mental well being and meaningful personal growth.

 

 

Anna takes a collaborative and tailored approach to treatment and works with individuals to develop specific and realistic goals, focusing on strengths to identify and work through barriers or obstacles in order to achieve progress and healing. She appreciates that taking the step to talk with someone about mental health struggles can be a difficult or overwhelming process and she works to establish a compassionate, supportive working relationship with warmth and attentive care.
