ABOUT CHERYL

 

Cheryl Orozco is an independently Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who holds a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. She has extensive training and experience working with anxiety, depression, OCD, hoarding, LGBTQ struggles, trauma related issues, and adjustment/transition struggles. She has worked with people of all ages in residential and intensive outpatient treatment programs through McLean Hospital. She also has experience working with people in the community and in outpatient settings. Currently, she works with adults for individual and couples therapy.

 

Cheryl believes that every single person faces hardship in their lives. We all need help along our journey to discover and build upon our strengths. It takes courage to ask for help and support. She works from a person-centered, strength-based approach. Cheryl feels that her main focus, as a therapist, is to go on a journey with people to help empower them to live the life that they want.
