ABOUT ANGELA

 

Angela is a bilingual bi-cultural clinical social worker with more than 30 years of experience with most of them working in higher education settings. Angela works collaboratively with people who are of different backgrounds ethnic, cultural, socio-economic, LGTBQ, etc. Issues addressed are depression, anxiety, OCD, stress, loss, transitions and relationships along different stages of life: from young adults to older adults. Her theoretical background is strength based. Angela uses family therapy approaches as well as Relational Cultural theory and feminist approach that address oppression issues. Some of the modalities that Angela uses are C.B.T, psycho-dynamic, family systems.
