ABOUT GABRIELLE

 

Gabrielle Baumgart is a second-year clinical psychology doctoral candidate pursuing her Psy. D at William James College in Newton, Ma. Gabrielle received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wheaton College in Norton, MA. Trust and empathy are the foundations in forming a healthy therapeutic relationship. Gabrielle believes strongly in practicing trauma informed care to maintain sensitivity towards clients individualized experiences. She is accepting of all different races, ethnicities, religions, and gender and sexual orientations.

 

Gabrielle has experience working with children and adolescents in various residential and therapeutic after-school programs. She has experience with individual and group therapeutic interventions. She practices mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients discover the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to aid clients in making the positive changes that they want to see in their lives.
