ABOUT KATHERINE

​

Katherine is a second-year doctoral student training in Clinical Psychology at William James College.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Clemson University. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Katherine gained clinical experience with mental health professionals at a group home facility and a psychiatric hospital. Prior to her graduate studies at William James, Katherine worked in collaboration with families and loved ones of hospice patients back in South Carolina.

 

Over the years, Katherine has served with a variety of populations affected by severe mental illness, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and much more. She carries her passion for mental health in her services for others and takes priority in putting the client’s needs first. She values incorporating empathy and creating a safe environment for facilitating treatment. Her approach to practice is person-centered, utilizing evidence-based practices based on individual needs and is guided by building a strong therapeutic relationship.
