ABOUT KRISTIN

 

Kristin has over 25 years of experience providing the highest quality care to children, adolescents, adults, and families through individual and group therapy and comprehensive psychosocial assessment and treatment planning. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. She has practiced in a variety of settings, and is skilled in issues related to family systems, parenting support, anxiety and depression, trauma, and ADHD.  She is also a leading expert in the field of juvenile firesetting behavior intervention and risk assessment.

Kristin's strength is her ability to engage well and connect with all types of personalities as well as her strong combination of attention to detail, communication skills, and use of humor with respect and empathy, all used toward a solutions-oriented approach, always keeping the needs of the person she is serving a priority. She believes in the person-centered approach involving utilizing a person's strengths and working with them to develop the best self-care practices that they need to help them reach their goals.
