ABOUT LISA

​

Lisa Vendetti, LICSW is a graduate of Columbia's School of Social Work and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).  Lisa has worked for over a decade providing therapy services to children, adolescents and their families in community, school, home and office settings.  She has led trainings, offered to school faculty, students and community colleagues, on a variety of topics in the field.  During this time she provided clinical supervision and training to supervisory, clinical, paraprofessional and graduate students.  Lisa consistently collaborated with, and when requested would provide consultation to a variety of child and family organizations, schools and other community professionals faced with challenging circumstances.  The experience of working with so many inspiring and resilient children, adolescents, parents and families over the past years shaped the decision to start a private practice of her own.  Her style is one that is collaborative, interactive, patient, understanding, insight oriented and strength-focused. 

  

Beginning in 2013, Lisa wanted to expand her skill set and service offerings in the area of Dispute Resolution.  At this time, she completed the required training to provide Divorce Mediation Services.  Furthermore, in 2015, she completed the required training through the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council (MCLC) to provide Divorce Coach and Child Specialist services and is an active member with the organization.

Lisa has always been interested in complementary and integrated methods to assist in the process of gaining insight, reducing stress and finding release/relief.  Lisa wanted to expand her skills set and service offerings in this area and completed a series of Reiki trainings and is now a Reiki Master.  Additionally, she completed training and received certification in 2017 to teach Youth Yoga & Mindfulness.
