ABOUT STACIE

 

Stacie Perreault, LMHC is a graduate of Framingham State University and is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician. Stacie has worked for over a decade in the field of Psychology providing services to diverse populations of adults, adolescents, children, families and couples. Stacie began her professional journey providing Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault counseling, crisis intervention, case management, outreach, legal & medical advocacy in 2007 where she was trained in Jane Doe’s Sexual Assault Training Curriculum for New Counselors & Advocates. Additionally in 2009 Stacie graduated from Massachusetts Office of Victim’s Assistance Academy. Stacie initially spent 4 years providing services to this population before providing Grief & Bereavement for families of deceased individuals at a local funeral home.

 

In 2011 Stacie became a Substance Abuse Clinician for Spectrum Health Systems in Westborough, MA where she provided both individual and group treatment for those struggling with addiction in a residential setting. Afterwards Stacie became a Clinical Coach for the Children Receiving Assistance (CRA) program at Mass211 providing peer coaching and support for colleagues as well as information and referral for families of high risk adolescence. In 2013 Stacie completed her Graduate level internship at Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) in Worcester, MA where she provided In Home Therapy (IHT), Outpatient Psychotherapy (OT), and Group Therapy for Victims of Crime’s Act (VOCA) children who were victims of sexual exploitation and abuse. Here she received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

 

Upon graduating with her Master’s Degree in 2014, Stacie joined Family Continuity Agency in Whitinsville, MA where she spent the next 3 years and presently provides Outpatient Psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, children, families, & couples. Stacie also provides services to individuals, families and groups. Stacie also participates in Integrated Care providing therapy services in a school setting.

 

Stacie’s diverse experience working in various levels of treatment in all capacities with individuals of all age groups have assisted her to developing  an experienced, compassionate, empathetic, and solutions-oriented approach dedicated to providing exceptional care. Stacie believes that therapy should be client driven and a positive and healing experience. Her core treatment values include kindness, non-judgement, and bringing her genuine self to the client / therapist relationship to assist in building lasting trust and rapport and most importantly, providing an opportunity for a client to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.
