About:

You’ve just landed on a new planet, one you probably never planned for. Even if you’ve been a mom or dad before, you’re learning a new language. In this group, we will support each other as parents who-despite different experiences-speak a similar language.

​

Goals & Objectives:

To create a safe space for parents of premature children to speak about their individual experiences.

• Explore fears, and successes, of parenting a more fragile child

• Reflect how a NICU stay or birth experience can create a lasting trauma, and respecting the healing process

  • Psychoeducation of topics created specifically for your group needs
